Should I believe previous crush?

Ok so like peole have been telling me that he thinks I'm hot and likes me nothing ever happened though.. So my brother comes home and tells me what he was saying at baseball practice about me he told my brother "hey your sister thinks my name is Chris." my brother is like "ok" and then he said it was awkward and quiet for like a second then the boy says "yeah I think your sister is supper hot." and my brother is like "oh cool.really?" and then the boy is like "yeah." so I dont know if I should believe this or not?
