Are areas of regeneration in Edinburgh good places to live?

The greater the extent of regeneration the greater will be the change in peoples attitudes to the area. Look for an area that has been totally redeveloped - preferably with a view to attracting middle class buyers rather than mainly for rehousing council tenants. Much as I hate discrimination for any reason there are still a lot of people look down on mainly council areas and term them more undesirable.
