Should I believe this boy?

I've got told this whole fall\winter that this boy thinks I'm hot and likes me but I didn't believe anyone because I liked him first and he found out he now told my brother this at baseball practice this "hey your sister thinks my name is Chris." and my brother was like "ok" and then it was really quiet and awkward then my brother said that the boy said "yep and I think your sister is supper hot." then my brother said "Oh really?" and the boy said "yes." so I don't know if I should believe it or not?
