Is anyone related to Edward McPhillips b. 1896 in Leith, Scotland?

I am researching my family tree and this man is my grandfather, he was a bigamist and the family lost track of him in 1946 when he was convicted and sent to prison in Liverpool, England. I can't find any details on his death and would ask anyone with any info to please, please post a message for me!
